Trabzonsporlu Selçuk İnan ve Karabükspor’un golcüsü Emmanuel Emenike’nin işini büyük oranda bitiren ancak bu iki oyuncu için resmi girişimde bulunmayan Fenerbahçe ilk bombasını Sezer Öztürk ile patlattı. Devre arasında Beşiktaş’ın 8 milyon Euro karşılığında renklerine bağladığı Tabata ile takas etmeyi düşündüğü ama transferini gerçekleştiremediği Eskişehirspor’un genç yıldızıyla her konuda anlaşmaya varıldı.
Gelin, bu işi bitirmek için kolları sıvayan sarı lacivertli yöneticilerden Şekir Mosturoğlu’nun, “Fenerbahçe’de oynar mısın?” teklifine hiç düşünmeden olumlu cevap veren Sezer Öztürk’ün transfer hikayesine bir bakalım…

Uzun süredir takip edilen, Aykut Kocaman’ın da “Bize katkısı büyük olur” dediği Sezer için yöneticiler ilk olarak hocası Bülent Uygun’a danıştı. Uygun’un genç oyuncu için tam not vermesi ve “Gökhan Gönül gibi Fenerbahçe adına çok yararlı bir transfer olur. Sezer en az 7-8 yıl sarı lacivertli formayı başarıyla taşır. Büyük takımda kendini gösterme fırsatı daha fazla olacaktır” deyince transferin startı verildi. Fenerbahçe yönetiminin bu transfer için yetki verdiği asbaşkan Şekip Mosturoğlu hemen girişimlere başladı ve Eskişehirspor Başkanı Halil Ünal ile bonservis konusunda anlaşmaya vardı.
